Richard B. Meyrat, MD, FAANS

Dr. Richard Meyrat is a founding member and a senior partner of the Methodist Moody Brain and Spine Institute. He serves as the director of neurosurgery and stroke at Methodist Hospital in Mansfield. He has been affiliated with the Methodist Health System since 2007 and practices at Methodist Mansfield, Methodist Dallas, Methodist Charlton, and Methodist Addison.

Dr. Meyrat specializes in both cranial and spinal surgery. His training in both neurosurgical spine and orthopedic spine surgery favors a balanced approach to treating spinal conditions. Keeping abreast with the latest technology and surgical techniques in both cranial and spinal surgery is an essential part of his practice. He is involved in implant designs in both the cervical and lumbar spine and specializes in minimally invasive technology.
